Yesterday a visit to Lekhnath with Hridaya who has just joined the health team (focus child health initiatives) to see the asha mobile clinic that runs there each thursday, and also some of the ASPT1 (total 15 stoves) stoves installed there.
We arrived at 9 and saw the mobile clinic before visiting three homes where the morning dish of rice and vegetables were being cooked.
It was good to see the stoves being used, and Hridaya was impressed I think with what the cooks had to say about the stoves.
One lady commented the the meat smoker box we made on her chimney pipe makes better smoked meat than they way she used to hang the meat over an open fire!
