Stoves installed at Armala village.

On Friday the 11th of February the stoves team went to Armala village just outside of Pokhara, to install two new stoves. The homes here are different from the homes in the Butwal area as they are made with very thick stone walls,
as compared to bamboo & clay walls seen at the lower elevation and hotter
Butwal area. Users here in Armala have been using the stoves from the earlier trials, and are now having their previous stoves replaced with the ones fabricated to the Nepal specification. Here in Armala villagers have formed community groups to manage and collect firewood, which is taken and sold in nearby Pokhara.
