On Tuesday the 1st of March the CWS stoves team headed up into the hills to the village of Birchok to visit a ECD centre supported by World Vision. The World Vision team have decided to install a new stove here as a way to show and promote the new technology. You will see from the picture above how it compares to the old 'ICS' mud brick chimney stoves. World wide this technology has been replaced by generic rocket stoves, such as the one CWS is promoting.
